El Diamante’s reposado is one day shy of añejo status; it is aged for 364 days in oak. This 100% blue agave is triple-distilled in small pot stills after steaming and fermentation. The tall, slender bottle is distinguished by a decorative gold background that amplifies the spirit’s pale, golden color.
El Diamante Del Cielo Reposado Tequila Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet caramel, raw honey and dried flower aromas display a touch of earthy olives and underbrush.
Palate: A smooth entry leads to a very round dry-yet-fruity medium-to-full-bodied palate with sweet honey, cooked orchard fruit, caramel, olive juice, brown spices and crushed minerals.
Finish: Finishes with a long vanilla and caramel fade with a brush of spice, oak and white pepper.
