Detailed Description
An Irish whiskey blend of both grain and single malt, Hinch Small Batch Bourbon Cask has (of course) been matured in bourbon oak casks. Hinch is located just outside Ballynahinch, so you can see where they got the name from. Expect lots of those classic creamy bourbon notes.
Hinch Small Batch Bourbon Cask Irish Whiskey Tasting Notes
Nose: Orange marmalade, dried apricot, creamy malt and earthy vanilla pod with buttered toast.
Palate: Creamy vanilla, pancakes and maple syrup, floral honey, dried fruit, fresh canteloupe and lively citrus.
Finish: Chocolate covered almond, vanilla shortbread and more honey.
Distillery Information
Hinch Distillery also recently appointed Brandwerk its distributor in Taiwan. The distillery’s products are now available in 20 countries, including Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. The 30,0000 sq ft Hinch Distillery, located between Belfast and Ballynahinch, was due to open this summer but construction was delayed to due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
