Tim Smith, best known for his starring role in Discovery Channel’s “Moonshiners” and for his critically acclaimed Tim Smith’s Original Climax Moonshine, is a third generation moonshiner who’s managed to keep his family’s 100-year-old moonshine recipe a secret while successfully turning it into a major national brand. The final process of creating this whiskey allows it to cool in Oak containers for a revolutionary whiskey – Made to be in a Class of its Own.

Distillery Information
Products are made at Belmont Farm Distillery in Culpeper, Virginia and Asheville Distillery in North Carolina, and were also previously distilled at Limestone Branch Distillery in Lebanon, Kentucky. Belmont Farm Distillery is family owned and operated and has chosen to preserve a national tradition of copper pot still fresh whiskey in both Virginia Lightning Corn Whiskey and Kopper Kettle Virginia Whiskey.
